What is a SmartDot?

• The SmartDot is a Bluetooth low-energy beacon that pairs with a mobile device (iOS or Android-based) equipped with FleetMode. The SmartDot should be paired immediately following the initial installation of the FleetMode App.

• The SmartDot:
  • Turn FleetMode on immediately upon vehicle movement
  • Allows or blocks all incoming calls (option chosen by organization) 
  • Blocks device keyboard access when the vehicle is in motion, reducing distractions in the vehicle
